The high-wing installation satisfies the FAA requirements and enables subsequent tailBeacon installations to be performed on any âsuitable aircraftâ without STC as a minor alteration. A suitable aircraft supports the installation of the tailBeacon without airframe modification.
Per the manufacturer, this is an LED light rated for 10,000 hours of flight, but if something were to happen, please go to manufacturer for replacement or repair.
