Less than 1 hour installation. The TSO version populates the aircraft dimensions for most aircraft but allows changes. The product also populated the ICAO number based on the registration number entered. Great product!

Yes, the tailBeacon has an STC for the Cessna 172. The high-wing installation satisfies the FAA requirements and enables subsequent tailBeacon installations to be performed on any â€śsuitable aircraftâ€ť without STC as a minor alteration. A suitable aircraft supports the installation of the tailBeacon without airframe modification.
Per the manufacturer, this is an LED light rated for 10,000 hours of flight, but if something were to happen, please go to manufacturer for replacement or repair.
The CALL SIGN can be up to an 8 digit code that corresponds to the tail number of the aircraft.

This is not designed to integrate with a GPS. This provides ADS-B Out only and will not provide ADS-B In traffic display.
