For those complaining about dry rot etc. these tires arent for the occasional flyer. These are meant for high usage airplanes and are great for that application. My skydiving operation went through two sets per year until I discovered these. Now Im getting 14 months a set.
More threads for your buck!
RETREAD TIRE MONST 600-6 6 PLY
Nice tires. I sent them back, I needed 6X6.00 but the 15s. They looked great, just too big for my fairings. Reordered the correct size and all good.
RETREAD TIRE MONST 600-6 6 PLY
I use them on our Cessna 150 & Grumman Traveler not an issue. Also use them on the local flight school airplanes with good wear performance.
I use these tires on 9 of the 12 flight schools aircraft and they are unbeatable. The larger tread depth gives us more landing per tire AND they are not quite as expensive as the alternative.
Mine they dryroded the second year and had to change them. The tire surface hold really good for around 75 + landings.
seems to be very good, time will tell me if they are tough and will last for long as i expect
I purchased one of these in 2016. At the end of 2020, there were so many cracks and splits, that I needed to replace it. Dont buy these. They are junk.
At recommended pressure and under mild load, two side walls split promptly. After inspection, it looks like original donor tire (Air hawk) was grinded too deeply before retread. Ralf from Desser denied any possibility of manufacturing defects in spite of my numerous pictures... Dangerous tire in my opinion and experience.
